We traditionally have six campouts each year:
  • Late October - Our fall campout.  Traditionally at the Rum River Scout Camp, activities include outdoor games, a dutch over cooking competition between the patrols, and hiking a haunted trail run by one of the north metro troops.
  • January or February - Our winter  cabin campout.  The location varies each year.  Activities include outdoor game, cross country skiing, indoor board and card games, and movie Saturday night.
  • Early May - Our spring campout.  Traditionally at Phillippo Scout Camp, activities include a camp service project, outdoor games, working on rank for first and decond year boys, and an evening hike to Friendship Point.
  • Late May - Our summer bike trip campout.  The location varies each year.  We typically ride about 50 miles to help boys earn the Cycling Merit Badge, but have options for boys that don't want to ride quite so far.
  • June - Summer Campout.  Generally a long weekend, the location varies.
  • August - Week long Summer campt at Tomahawk Scout Reservation
Other activities and campouts are planned as the boys express interest.

Be Prepared... the meaning of the motto is that a scout must prepare himself by previous thinking out and practicing how to act on any accident or emergency so that he is never taken by surprise.
