Friends of Scouting - Last Call!
Our annual drive for the Friends of Scouting began at the court of honor on
2-8-2010.
Based on the size of our troop, Northern Star Council
has given our troop a goal of $2,700 and we have met that goal! As a result, we
will be helping further the mission of Scouting, and the Council will provide our
troop with all patches for merit badges and rank advancements for the
year--a savings to the troop of around $400!
The troop leadership would like to thank those who have
contributed through Friends of Scouting. Pledge forms have been
mailed out to those families who were not able to make the Court
of Honor. Please consider making a contribution. Thank you.
If you have questions or need a Friends of Scouting brochure,
please contact Mr. Cahow. Check back here for periodic updates on
how our troop is doing.

Wreath Sales Wrap-up

Congratulations to all the Scouts who took advantage of this wonderful opportunity to EARN money for their Troop and for their own personal Camp Fund. Brothers Michael and Noah combined to sell $1811 of products. Our top individual seller was Cullen H, who sold $1171. The profit for our Troop this year was $1319.78, and the total profit that was deposited into the various sellers’ personal Camp Funds was $3354.90. That’s a huge $4600+ of camping fun in the Troop’s near future … nice work, guys!
Scouts, be sure to thank your parents AGAIN for their logistical help with all those pine needles.
